Although Simmental bulls have been used at Maesllymystyn for over a decade on the commercial cattle, the Pedigree Herd was only established in 2004.

Females have been purchased from society sales at Perth, together with herd dispersals and reductions. The most notable purchases have been from the Celtic, Corskie and Skerrington herds, and we have high hopes for our most recent purchases, Ben-Nant Veronica & Verity from the Ben-Nant reduction sale following a very successful show season for the Raymonds.
